1. Overview & scope
This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds, redeliveries, and store credit work for purchases on buyer.gg (the "Service" or "Site"), which is operated by Buyer.gg LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Buyer.gg", "we", "us", or "our"). Buyer.gg LLC is the merchant of record for purchases made on the Service. Our registered address is 8 The Green, STE B, Dover, Kent County, DE 19901, United States.
This policy is part of, and is incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. If there is any conflict between this policy and the Terms of Service, this Refund Policy controls with respect to refunds. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1.1 What this policy covers
This policy applies to all paid transactions on the Service, including:
- Marketplace items — individual virtual in-game items you purchase for delivery to a verified in-game account;
- Guaranteed-item bundles — bundles that always deliver an item worth at least the bundle price (there is no empty bundle and no losing outcome);
- Wallet top-ups — prepaid store credit you add to your account balance; and
- Other paid features offered through the Service from time to time.
1.2 What this policy does not limit
Nothing in this policy limits, excludes, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by agreement. Where a non-waivable legal right gives you more protection than this policy, that legal right applies. See Section 12.
2. Digital goods & what "delivery" means
We are an independent online marketplace for virtual in-game items used in Roblox experiences. Items are delivered manually, in-game, by our staff to a Roblox account you have verified with us. Buyer.gg is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, Uplift Games LLC, or any game developer; all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
2.1 Definition of "delivered"
For the purposes of this policy, an item is "delivered" when it has been transferred to your verified in-game account or otherwise made accessible to you in-game. Because the goods are digital and delivery is typically near-immediate once a staff member processes your order, delivery completes the sale.
2.2 Sales are final after delivery
Once an item has been delivered, the sale is final and is generally not eligible for a refund. We do not offer "change of mind" or "buyer's remorse" refunds after delivery. This is standard for digital goods that cannot be "returned" once they are in your possession.
2.3 Guaranteed-item bundles
Every guaranteed-item bundle always delivers an item worth at least the bundle price. There is no empty bundle and no losing outcome — this is enforced structurally, not just as marketing copy. Bundle results are placed into a durable inventory on your account and are redeemed for in-game delivery; they are not redeemable for cash. The fact that you received a particular qualifying item from a bundle is not, by itself, a basis for a refund.
3. When you ARE eligible for a refund or make-good
We stand behind what we sell. If something goes wrong on our side, we will make it right. You are generally eligible for a refund, redelivery, swap, or store credit in the situations below.
3.1 Eligible situations
- Non-delivery — we failed to deliver an item you paid for within a reasonable time;
- Wrong item — we delivered an item materially different from the one you ordered;
- Materially not as described — the item you received is materially different from its description on the Service at the time of purchase;
- Duplicate or double charge — you were charged more than once for the same order in error;
- We cancelled — we cancelled your order before delivery for a reason that was not your fault; or
- Unsourceable bundle result — an item you received in a bundle cannot be sourced for in-game delivery; in that case our staff will resolve it with an equivalent item or credit.
3.2 Make-good options
Where you are eligible, we will choose a fair resolution with you. Our make-good options include, at our reasonable discretion and in keeping with your legal rights:
- Redelivery of the correct item;
- An equivalent swap for an item of comparable value;
- Wallet credit to your account balance; or
- A refund to your original payment method, where that is feasible.
3.3 Reporting timeframes
To help us investigate effectively, please report problems promptly. The following windows apply, except where applicable law gives you a longer period. A suspected unauthorized or fraudulent charge is not a Buyer.gg-side failure and is handled under Section 10; we include its reporting window here for convenience:
| Issue | Report within |
|---|---|
| Non-delivery or wrong item | 72 hours of the expected delivery / delivery event |
| Billing error (e.g. duplicate or double charge) | 30 days of the charge |
| Unsourceable bundle result | Promptly after you attempt to redeem it |
| Suspected unauthorized charge | As soon as possible; cooperation may be required within an approximately 120-day window |
For a suspected unauthorized charge, we may ask you to provide a signed affidavit and to cooperate with our investigation and with your bank or card issuer before we can resolve the matter. See Section 10.
4. When refunds are NOT available
Subject always to your non-waivable legal rights (see Section 12), refunds are generally not available in the following situations:
- After successful delivery — an item that has been delivered as ordered;
- Change of mind — items you no longer want, ordered by mistake on your side, or buyer's remorse;
- Account problems on your side — where you provided an incorrect, unverified, or inaccessible in-game account, or where you were unreachable in-game for delivery despite reasonable attempts to reach you;
- Terms / Acceptable Use violations — where you have violated our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, including fraud, abuse, or chargeback abuse;
- Promotional and free items — promotional items, free gifts, Star Points loyalty currency, levels, claimable rewards, raffle or giveaway entries, and other items that have no cash value;
- Crypto market movement & network fees — losses caused by cryptocurrency price movement after payment, or blockchain network (gas) fees; and
- Roblox-imposed actions — account restrictions, bans, or trade limits that Roblox Corporation imposes on you for your own conduct or violations. Roblox may restrict third-party trading or ban accounts engaged in real-money trading; that is outside our control.
5. Wallet balances & top-ups
Your wallet is a prepaid store-credit balance held on your account for use on the Service.
5.1 Nature of wallet credit
- Wallet credit is store credit only; it has no cash value, is not a deposit account, earns no interest, and is not transferable between accounts;
- Wallet credit is intended to be spent on the Service.
5.2 Refundability of top-ups
Top-ups and unused wallet credit are generally non-refundable to cash, except where required by applicable law. If we close or terminate your account without cause attributable to you, we will return any unused, lawfully-refundable balance to you using a reasonable method.
5.3 Voided balances
Balances that are obtained through error, fraud, abuse, exploitation of a bug, or violation of our Terms of Service may be reversed, adjusted, or voided. We may also withhold balances to the extent necessary to investigate suspected fraud or to comply with law.
6. Cryptocurrency payments (NOWPayments)
Cryptocurrency payments are currently processed by our third-party payment processor, NOWPayments. Crypto refunds are inherently more complex than card refunds, and the following terms apply.
- Network fees are non-refundable. Blockchain network (gas) fees and processor fees are not recoverable and will not be refunded;
- Value, not market price. Where we issue a crypto refund, the amount is based on the fiat value we actually received at the time of your payment, not on later market movements. Refunds may be returned in cryptocurrency or as wallet credit, at our reasonable discretion;
- Valid receiving address required. You must provide a valid receiving wallet address on the correct network. We are not responsible for funds that are lost because you provided an incorrect, incompatible, or inaccessible address;
- Under- and over-payments. If you send less or more than the invoiced amount, or send the wrong asset or network, we will handle the situation on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@buyer.gg and we will help recover or credit what we reasonably can.
7. Card payments (PaymentCloud)
When card payments are enabled on the Service, they will be processed by our third-party card processor, PaymentCloud. Card payments are an upcoming option and may not be available at the time you read this.
- Refunds to original card. Approved refunds on card payments will be issued back to the original card used for the purchase. We cannot refund to a different card or account;
- Processing timelines. Once we approve and submit a card refund, the time for it to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer or bank — typically several business days, sometimes one or two billing cycles;
- We never store full card numbers. Card data is handled by our processor; Buyer.gg does not receive or store your full card number.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@buyer.gg within 14 days of the charge (or within any longer period required by applicable law) and include:
- your account email and/or username;
- the order or transaction reference;
- your in-game username; and
- a clear description of the issue, with screenshots where possible.
8.1 Our timeline
| Step | Typical timeframe |
|---|---|
| We acknowledge your request | A few business days |
| We investigate | About 5 business days (longer for complex cases) |
| Approved refund is processed | Varies by payment method; for crypto, also by the network |
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, or issued as wallet credit where appropriate and where you agree. The time to appear depends on the payment method, your card issuer or bank, and, for cryptocurrency, on the relevant blockchain network.
9. Chargebacks & payment disputes
Talk to us first. If something is wrong with your order, contact support@buyer.gg — we will help resolve it quickly. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us is a breach of our Terms of Service. In that case we may: freeze or terminate your account; contest the dispute with evidence of delivery and account activity; reverse or reclaim delivered items and any related rewards; and recover the dispute fees and other costs we reasonably incur.
This section does not prevent you from pursuing a legitimate dispute where we have failed to resolve a genuine problem, and it does not waive any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law (see Section 12). It is intended to encourage you to give us the chance to fix issues first.
10. Stolen or unauthorized payment methods
If you believe your card, crypto wallet, or account was used without your authorization:
- Contact your bank or card issuer right away to report the unauthorized use and protect your account; and
- Contact us at support@buyer.gg so we can secure your Buyer.gg account and assist.
We take fraud seriously and will cooperate in good faith with you, your bank or issuer, and law enforcement in fraud investigations. We may ask you to provide a signed affidavit and supporting information, and we may suspend account activity while we investigate.
11. Merchant of record
Buyer.gg LLC is the merchant of record for purchases made on the Service. This means we are the seller responsible for the items we sell on the Service and for handling refunds for those items in accordance with this policy and applicable law. Third-party payment processors (NOWPayments for cryptocurrency, and PaymentCloud for card payments when enabled) facilitate payment but are not the seller of the items.
12. Your consumer-law rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits, excludes, or modifies any consumer rights or statutory guarantees that apply to you and that cannot lawfully be waived. Those rights operate in addition to this policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, for example:
- United States cardholders — protections for billing errors and unauthorized charges under the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA) for credit cards, and under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act / Regulation E for debit and electronic transfers;
- EU / UK / EEA consumers — rights under applicable consumer-protection law. Note that, by law, the right to cancel certain digital content can end once supply has begun with your prior consent and acknowledgement that you lose the cancellation right — which is why delivered items are generally final (see Section 2); and
- Other jurisdictions — any other non-waivable consumer guarantees that apply to you.
Where any such right gives you more protection than this policy, that right applies. If you are unsure of your rights, contact support@buyer.gg and we will work with you.
13. Changes to this policy & contact
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date and version number at the top reflect the current version. Material changes will be reflected here; your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated policy, except where applicable law requires your prior consent.
