1. Overview & how this policy works

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP" or "Policy") sets the rules for using buyer.gg (the "Service" or "Site"), which is operated by Buyer.gg LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Buyer.gg", "we", "us", or "our"). Buyer.gg LLC is the merchant of record for transactions on the Service. Our registered address is 8 The Green, STE B, Dover, Kent County, DE 19901, United States.

This AUP is part of, and is incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service ("Terms"). It applies to everyone who accesses or uses the Service in any way — whether you have an account or not, whether you buy anything or not, and whether you use the Service yourself or on behalf of someone else. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms. If there is a conflict between this AUP and the Terms, the Terms control unless they say otherwise.

1.1 What the Service is

Buyer.gg is an independent online marketplace where you can purchase virtual in-game items used inside Roblox experiences. After your order is confirmed, our staff deliver the item manually, in-game, to an in-game account that you have verified with us. In addition to the marketplace, the Service offers:

  • Guaranteed-item bundles. Every bundle always delivers a virtual item worth at least the price you paid for the bundle. There is no empty bundle and no losing outcome — this is enforced structurally in our systems, not just promised in marketing. Bundles are not gambling, lotteries, lootboxes, or games of chance. Items received from a bundle are placed in a durable inventory and are redeemed for in-game delivery; they cannot be cashed out for money.
  • A prepaid wallet balance you can load and spend on the Service.
  • Star Points loyalty rewards, account levels with claimable rewards, a referral program, and occasional free-entry raffles or giveaways (which are promotional and are not gambling).

Independent marketplace. Buyer.gg is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, Uplift Games LLC, or any game developer. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only (nominative fair use). Roblox may restrict third-party trading or may suspend or ban accounts engaged in real-money trading; those decisions are made by Roblox and are outside our control.

1.2 The basic promise

Use the Service honestly, lawfully, and in the way it is meant to be used. Do not try to defraud us, cheat our systems, harm other people, break our security, or use Buyer.gg to do anything illegal. The sections below explain what that means in detail, but they are examples — they are not an exhaustive list of everything that could be a violation.

1.3 Consequences of a violation

If we reasonably determine that you have violated this AUP, the Terms, or applicable law, or that your activity creates risk for the Service, other users, our payment providers, or us, we may take one or more of the following actions, at our reasonable discretion and without being required to give advance notice:

  1. Issue a warning or request that you stop the conduct;
  2. Cancel, hold, or refuse orders, deliveries, or redemptions;
  3. Suspend or terminate your account and your access to the Service;
  4. Forfeit and reverse any items, wallet balance, Star Points, levels, rewards, referral credit, or bundle inventory that were obtained through, or are connected to, the violation ("ill-gotten" balances or items);
  5. Withhold or reverse delivery, and decline future business with you;
  6. Report the activity to our payment processors, banks, card networks, fraud-prevention partners, or to law enforcement or other authorities; and
  7. Take any other step reasonably available to us under the Terms or the law.

Where the violation involves fraud, abuse, or other bad-faith conduct, forfeited amounts are not refundable. Nothing in this section limits any other right or remedy available to us.

2. Fraud & payment abuse

Buyer.gg LLC is the merchant of record. Cryptocurrency payments are processed today by our third-party processor NOWPayments; card payments, when card payments are enabled, will be processed by PaymentCloud; and you can also pay using a prepaid wallet balance. We never receive or store full card numbers. Because real money moves through the Service, payment integrity matters enormously. You must not:

2.1 Use stolen or unauthorized payment methods

  • Use any payment card, bank account, cryptocurrency wallet, or other payment method that is stolen, unauthorized, or that you are not legally entitled to use.
  • Use cryptocurrency that is derived from fraud, theft, or other unlawful activity, or send fraudulent or "spoofed" crypto transactions.
  • Pay with funds that belong to someone else without their genuine permission, including paying with a parent's or another adult's card without their knowledge and consent.

2.2 Abuse chargebacks & payment disputes

If something is wrong with an order, contact support@buyer.gg first so we can make it right. Do not:

  • File a chargeback, payment dispute, or crypto reversal as a substitute for contacting us ("friendly fraud" or chargeback abuse);
  • Dispute a charge for goods or rewards you actually received and kept; or
  • Threaten chargebacks to pressure us into giving you free items, credit, or treatment you are not entitled to.

Always talk to us first. Most payment problems are resolved quickly by email. Filing a dispute instead of contacting support may result in cancellation of pending orders, suspension of your account, and forfeiture of items, wallet balance, or rewards connected to the disputed transaction.

2.3 Money laundering & illicit finance

  • Do not use the Service to launder money, to move or conceal funds of unlawful origin, to finance any illegal activity, or to evade taxes, sanctions, or financial-reporting obligations.
  • Do not structure transactions, use the wallet, or use bundle inventory in an attempt to disguise the source or destination of funds.

2.4 Misrepresentation & identity

  • Do not misrepresent your identity, age, location, or payment details to us or to our payment processors.
  • Do not provide false billing information or use anonymizing tools specifically to defeat fraud or geographic controls.
  • Do not attempt to obtain a refund or wallet credit that you are not genuinely owed.

3. Account & promotion abuse

Our wallet, Star Points loyalty, levels and rewards, referral program, promo codes, and free-entry giveaways are meant to reward real customers fairly. Trying to game them harms everyone. You must not:

3.1 Multi-accounting & identity rules

  • One identity, one person. Each account must belong to a single real person and reflect accurate information.
  • Do not create, control, or coordinate multiple or fake accounts to claim a welcome gift, sign-up bonus, referral reward, promo code, level reward, or any other promotion more than once.
  • Do not use false names, disposable identities, or other people's information to register accounts.

3.2 Referral & promotion abuse

  • No self-referrals and no fake referrals — you may not refer yourself, accounts you control, or fabricated users.
  • Do not collude with others to generate referral credit, loyalty points, or rewards that do not reflect genuine, independent activity.
  • Do not spam, mislead, or make false claims to get people to use your referral link or a promo code.
  • Do not stack, combine, or reuse promotions in ways that are not permitted by their stated rules.

3.3 Exploiting errors & bugs

  • Do not knowingly exploit pricing errors, currency or wallet glitches, software bugs, or other unintended behavior to obtain items, credit, points, or rewards you would not otherwise receive.
  • If you discover a bug or an error that benefits you, you must stop using it and report it to us (see Section 7). Amounts, items, or rewards gained from an exploit may be reversed or forfeited.

3.4 Selling, sharing & transferring accounts

  • Do not buy, sell, rent, lease, transfer, or share access to a Buyer.gg account, wallet balance, bundle inventory, Star Points, levels, or rewards.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Platform & security abuse

The Service depends on systems we and our hosting providers operate. To protect those systems, other users, and the integrity of in-game delivery, you must not:

4.1 Hacking, probing & unauthorized testing

  • Hack, probe, scan, fuzz, or otherwise test the vulnerability of the Service, its infrastructure, or any connected system without our prior written authorization.
  • Breach, bypass, or attempt to circumvent any security, authentication, authorization, or access-control measure.
  • Access, or try to access, accounts, data, orders, inventories, or admin features that are not yours.

4.2 Automation, scraping & rate limits

  • Do not evade, disable, or interfere with rate limits, anti-abuse controls, or fraud-prevention measures.
  • Do not scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Service, or use bots, crawlers, scripts, or other automation to interact with the Service, except as we expressly permit.
  • Do not place automated, bulk, or artificial orders, redemptions, or requests.

4.3 Reverse engineering & interference

  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
  • Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service, its delivery process, our staff queue, or other users — including through denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or overloading.
  • Do not introduce or transmit any virus, worm, malware, or other harmful code, or use the Service to do so to others.
  • Do not frame, mirror, or misrepresent the Service, or remove or alter any notices on it.

Responsible disclosure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it privately to corporate@buyer.gg before disclosing it publicly or to any third party, and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and fix it. Please do not access, modify, or delete data that is not yours, and do not degrade the Service while testing. We appreciate good-faith research conducted under these guidelines.

5. Honest use & community conduct

The Service includes a verified in-game account connection, support chat, usernames, reviews, and other places where you interact with our team and other people. Use them honestly and treat others with respect. You must not:

5.1 Accurate information

  • Provide false or misleading account details or in-game account information, including an in-game account or username that is not yours or that you are not authorized to use for delivery.
  • Attempt to receive in-game delivery to an account you do not control.

5.2 No impersonation

  • Do not impersonate any person or entity, including Buyer.gg staff or support, Roblox, a game developer, or another user.
  • Do not falsely claim an affiliation, endorsement, or authority you do not have.

5.3 Harassment, hate & harmful content

  • Do not harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or abuse our staff or other users.
  • Do not post or transmit content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, illegal, deceptive, or that infringes anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights — in support chat, usernames, reviews, or anywhere else on the Service.
  • Do not submit fake, manipulated, or incentivized reviews, or spam.
  • Do not share other people's private or personal information without permission.

5.4 Respect our team

Our staff are here to help, including with manual in-game delivery. Treat them with courtesy. We may decline to continue assisting, and may suspend access, where a user is abusive, threatening, or persistently disruptive.

6. Legal compliance & jurisdiction

6.1 Lawful use only

  • Do not use the Service where doing so is prohibited or restricted by law, and do not use it for any unlawful purpose.
  • You must comply with all laws that apply to you, including consumer-protection, anti-fraud, and online-conduct laws.

6.2 Sanctions & export controls

  • You may not use the Service if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or acting on behalf of any country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are an individual or entity subject to sanctions administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or other applicable authorities.
  • You must comply with all applicable sanctions, anti-money-laundering, and export-control laws and regulations.

6.3 Taxes & your local laws

  • You are responsible for determining and paying any taxes that apply to your use of the Service, and for complying with the laws of the place where you live and use the Service.

6.4 Age, minors & consent

The Service is intended only for users who are 13 years of age or older.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, "COPPA"). If we learn that we hold personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. A parent or guardian can request deletion by emailing corporate@buyer.gg.
  • If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use the Service only with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian, and that adult is responsible for your activity, including any purchases.
  • Do not purchase, or attempt to purchase, on behalf of a minor without the consent of the minor's parent or guardian.
  • Do not falsify your age or attempt to circumvent any age verification or geographic restriction.

For parents and guardians. Buyer.gg is a 13+ service. We do not operate an under-13 program. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, or you want to review or remove your teen's data, email corporate@buyer.gg and we will help.

7. Reporting & enforcement

7.1 How to report

If you become aware of fraud, abuse, a security issue, harmful conduct, or any other violation of this AUP, please report it:

  • For abuse, fraud, security, and legal matters: corporate@buyer.gg
  • For order and account help: support@buyer.gg

Please include enough detail for us to investigate (for example, what happened, when, and any relevant account, order, or message references).

7.2 Investigation & discretion

We may, but are not obligated to, investigate suspected violations. We may review account activity, orders, communications, and related records consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. We may take any action we consider appropriate, including the measures described in Section 1.3 and in our Terms of Service. Our enforcement decisions are made at our reasonable discretion, and taking (or not taking) action in one case does not waive our right to act in another.

7.3 Cooperation with authorities & partners

Where appropriate, we may share information about a violation with our payment processors, banks, card networks, fraud-prevention partners, or with law enforcement and other authorities, as permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.

7.4 Relationship to the Terms

This AUP supplements, and does not replace, our Terms of Service. The Terms govern disputes (including binding individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, seated in Delaware, with a class-action and jury-trial waiver, a 30-day opt-out, and a small-claims carve-out), the limitation of our liability, governing law (the State of Delaware, USA), and other important provisions. Please read them.

8. Changes & contact

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, our practices, or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and version above. Material changes will be communicated in accordance with our Terms. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
